Wuthering Waves Nova is one of The Shorekeeper's ascension materials, so here is a guide on its locations, farming routes, and where you can buy it.
In Wuthering Waves, there’s a special item called Nova that you need to upgrade the 5-Star character called The Shorekeeper. To make Shorekeeper reach level 90, you will need 60 Nova as it is her Ascension material. These items are spread around different places on the Black Shores map, and you can also buy some of them.

Wuthering Waves Nova Locations and Farming Routes
There are six main areas in the game where you can get Nova. But, for some of these places, you might need to do a few side quests first to unlock them. Here are the main places and routes where you can gather Nova:
Bank of Life Area: Head to the southern Bank of Life Resonance Beacon. This area has 13 Nova that you can collect.
Error Cell Region (Tethys' Deep): You’ll find two main routes to collect Nova here:
- Route 1: 10 Nova are located in the southern part of Error Cell. Start from the Error Cell Resonance Beacon and follow the path.
- Route 2: From the same Beacon, head northeast and gather 4 more Nova near the water's edge.
Eidoscape Region: This area contains 15 Nova. You can teleport to the Eidoscape Resonance Beacon and follow the farming route laid out on the map.
Modulation Hall: There are 8 Nova in total in this region, split across two routes:
- Route 1: Find 3 Nova to the east of Modulation Hall.
- Route 2: Head southeast to gather 5 more Nova after teleporting to the same Beacon.
Energy Hub Region: There are 15 Nova scattered around the Energy Hub and along the shore. Here’s a breakdown:
- Route 1: 4 Nova right in front of the Energy Hub Resonance Beacon.
- Route 2: Head north from the previous location to gather 3 more Nova.
- Route 3: Go southwest to the shore to collect 2 Nova.
- Route 4: Continue south to find 3 more Nova on the rocks near the water.
The Black Shores Archipelago: In this area, you can find 3 Nova near the Tethys Hub and 2 more in an underground cave accessed by teleporting to the Resonance Beacon northeast of Tethys Hub.
Where to Buy Nova in WuWa
If you don’t want to farm all the 60 Nova, you can also buy some of them. There’s a shopkeeper named KU-Money in the Tethys Hub who sells up to 15 Nova. You’ll need Shell Credits to buy them, which can help if you’re in a hurry to upgrade The Shorekeeper.
Best Farming Spots
For quick farming, the best areas to gather a large number of Nova are:
- Eidoscape Region: This area holds 6 Nova and is easily accessible through the nearby Teleport Tower.
- Modulation Hall: This area has 5 Nova near the waterfall and 3 more on the rocks east of the cliff.
