Battlefield 6 will be releasing soon, but thanks to leaks, we already have information about what's coming. New leaks have revealed information about a Portal Mode that will allow players to make their own rules and the new Battle Royale map. Here is everything that we know about it.

Battlefield 6 Battle Royale Map

A known leaker, @TheBFWire on X, recently revealed fresh clips of the battle royale map and it is huge. We’re talking airports, factories, suburbs, highways, and even a dockyard, with water marking the edges. This thing is bigger than anything we’ve seen in multiplayer Battlefield before.

You’ll spot some classic battle royale stuff like parachuting in, picking your gear, and hopping into vehicles, but Battlefield 6 is putting its own spin on it. Based on the recent clips, it looks like you can use your weapons while gliding in and even cut your parachute and pull it again before you touch down.

Destruction is still front and center. Clip after clip shows people breaking walls with sledgehammers and blasting cars (and golf carts) for explosions. Buildings, cover, cars, if it’s in the way, you can probably blow it all up.

But there's one thing that's missing, the classic shrinking circle. But let’s be real—it’s coming. Every battle royale needs some way to force a final showdown.

Battlefield 6 Portal Mode

Coming to the portal, this isn’t a new idea. The mode first showed up in Battlefield 2042, letting players mix every era of Battlefield (weapons, maps, vehicles, you name it) to create wild new modes. Battlefield 6 Portal looks like it’s doubling down on that.

Leaked gameplay from BF Labs Alpha shows creators building their own maps with assets from old favorites like Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 1942. There are even parkour-like setups with stairs and containers, letting you test new ways to move and shoot.

The editor looks solid. You can grab props, tweak vehicles, build crazy environments, and invite friends to try it all out.

Well, if the leaks are right, Battlefield 6 Portal will give everyone the tools to make their own fun. The battle royale map brings classic Battlefield destruction and vehicle combat to a new format that's bigger, messier, and full of potential for chaos.

But there’s still a lot we don’t know yet. Will the shrinking circle work like we expect? Which classic assets will you be able to use? Will the new modes balance out? Well, leaks are just a peek and nothing’s set in stone.
