In August, German streamer ohnePixel announced the signing of his own Counter-Strike 2 roster.

How are DRILLAS compensated?

The team started in the Levant and North African open qualifiers, advancing into the Middle East closed qualifier.

They surprisingly won said event, after going flawless through the lower bracket and earned qualification for the Asian RMR, taking place on LAN in November.

Whilst the goal of the project was to get stickers for ohnePixel, little details were known about the exact compensation his players were to receive.

Now, ohnePixel's manager Dona has confirmed rumors, that the players would not earn any actual salary.

This means that in order for them to get paid, they will need to qualify for the Major. If they manage to do so, each player will receive his individual sticker in the game.

They are supported in the form of a bootcamp, as well as the costs of hotels and flights, being covered by ohnePixel.

The team will receive their logo in form of a sticker too, this was ohnePixel's ambition from the beginning.

Sticker money, made by Valve in game, via capsules, is well known to be the biggest income for many organizations and their players.

Dona further stated, that this is a huge opportunity for the five players.

The RMR will take place in Shanghai, starting November 11. Do you think DRILLAS can qualify for the Major?
