PUBG MOBILE Esports has revealed the final group draw for the 2025 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC), marking an exciting start to the most anticipated esports event of the year. This season features 40 of the world’s best squads, all aiming for the PMGC trophy and their share of the $3,000,000 prize pool. The championship will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, as part of the inaugural PUBG UNITED 2025, where PMGC and PGC will be celebrated together.
How does the PMGC 2025 Format work?
The PMGC 2025 introduces a new competition structure, starting with The Gauntlet from November 24 to 26. In this stage, 16 teams will clash over 18 matches across three days. The top seven performers will go straight to the Grand Finals, while the bottom nine move to the Group Stage, joining 23 other teams from regional qualifiers.
The Gauntlet teams will be seeded into two groups for the Group Stage—Group Green and Group Red—based on their rankings. Even-ranked teams go to Group Red, odd-ranked to Group Green. The Group Stage runs from November 28 to December 4, with each group playing 18 matches over three days. From there:
- The top three teams in each group move directly to the Grand Finals.
- Teams finishing 4th-11th advance to the Last Chance qualifier (December 6–7).
- The bottom five teams in each group are eliminated.
The Grand Finals are set for December 12–14, where the hunt for the PMGC 2025 trophy will reach its thrilling climax.
