The first-ever BGMI International Cup (BMIC) 2025 ended with a bang, as South Korea’s DRX took home the champion title. The event brought together top teams from India, South Korea, and Japan. India’s True Rippers delivered a breakout performance, finishing as first runners-up and making the country proud on the global esports stage.

DRX’s Dominant Victory at BMIC 2025

DRX from South Korea proved why they are one of the best in the world. They scored 166 points across 18 matches, with three Chicken Dinners and 111 kills. Their star player, HYUNBIN, was named MVP for his outstanding performance, while QXZZZ earned the Best IGL award for his sharp tactical leadership.

DRX’s victory earned them ₹30 lakh and a direct spot in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2025, which starts on November 24.

True Rippers Shine for India

India’s True Rippers, led by Jelly, put up a strong fight and finished second with 137 points. Their performance was a proud moment for Indian esports, as they became the first Indian team to reach the top two in an international BGMI event.

True Rippers also secured a spot in the PMGC 2025 Group Stage and took home ₹15 lakh for their efforts.

Japan’s CAG OSAKA finished third with 136 points and two Chicken Dinners, earning ₹10 lakh. Nebula Esports from India came fourth with 127 points, while NS RedForce and Dplus took fifth and sixth places, respectively. The prize pool was distributed as follows:

  • DRX: ₹30 lakh
  • True Rippers: ₹15 lakh
  • CAG OSAKA: ₹10 lakh
  • Nebula Esports: ₹7.5 lakh
  • NS RedForce: ₹6.26 lakh
  • Dplus: ₹4.5 lakh

The tournament also recognised individual talent with special awards:
