PMWC 2025 Tournament Format
The PMWC 2025 Groups stage is just the beginning of a fierce competition. Here’s how the format works:
- Group Stage: From July 25 to 27, each group will play 12 matches, with six matches happening each day. The map order for every day is: Sanhok, Erangel (three times), and then Miramar (twice). Only the top 8 teams across all groups, based on total points, will directly qualify for the Grand Finals. The remaining 16 teams will move to the Survival Stage for another shot.
- Survival Stage: Takes place on July 29 and 30. The 16 teams battle it out, and only the top 8 survive to join the Grand Finals. The other 8 will be eliminated.
- Grand Finals: From August 1 to 3, the 16 best teams (8 from Group Stage, 8 from Survival) will play a total of 18 matches (6 per day) to crown the PMWC 2025 champion. A special “Smash Rule” will be used on the final day: Once a team reaches a certain Match Point threshold, the next “Winner Winner Chicken Dinner” they score could instantly win them the title.
