As announced by Summitsphere the release of Antonblast’s Switch version will be delayed, but the developer promises it to be launched before the end of 2024.

PC version still set for December 3

Before the statement made by Summitsphere's Studio Head Tony Grayson was released, the launch date for the game’s PC and Switch version had been set to December 3.

While Antonblast will still be available on that day for the PC via Steam, Switch players have to wait a bit longer, but are supposed to be able to enjoy the game before the end of the year.

Statement by the studio

Summitsphere explained that to ensure peak performance on the Switch as well, it will take a few more days, so the game can meet the high expectations by them and Nintendo.

Kickstarter backers with a key for the Switch version can wait until a release date is set or can swap to the Steam version via their Fangame survey.

Here you can read the full statement by Grayson:

A hammer against Satan

The game that was funded via kickstarter is a fast-paced platformer focusing on destruction and explosions.

Staring Dynamite Anton and his "Mighty F’n Hammer" players have to demolish bizarre worlds and fight bosses that fill up the whole screen to get the spirits back that have been stolen by Satan himself.

While a demo is already available, the Steam version of the game will launch as planned on December 3 at 12 p.m. ET. A Twitch livestream will be held the same day by Summitsphere to celebrate the release, answer fan questions and showcase the game.

Are you a backer of the game? Will you give Antonblast a try?
