With the release of Title Update #9 for EA SPORTS FC 25, the game gets a few fresh adjustments, especially in Ultimate Team and Career Mode. While there aren't any big gameplay changes – EA wanted to keep things consistent after the positive feedback from the Gameplay Refresh Update – there are still some interesting improvements that make the experience smoother across all platforms. Here are all the important updates summed up.

New Fixes and Features

Match Outcome Changes in Ultimate Team: Players will now receive a win when their opponent quits under specific conditions, such as after 45 minutes of in-game time, a red card, or conceding a penalty kick.

OVR Range Search: A new filtering option has been introduced in Ultimate Team, allowing players to search for cards based on overall rating (OVR), streamlining squad-building and market searches.

Gameplay: Minor adjustments to Simulation Mode sliders and a bug fix for throw-in stability.

Career Mode: Ability to set Board Strictness in Live Starting Points and a fix for stability during match simulations.

Visual and Audio: Minor fixes for text and badge display issues.

Long-Awaited Blessings

This update, along with the historically huge last one, is surprisingly progressive from EA. Players have been waiting for more than 10 years for that match quitting update, which may just be a tiny bullet point in this small pitch, but its impact is going to be a huge win for the game experience.

So, why are we getting these blessings? Let's put it simply: Money! It has been reported that both FC25 and Dragon Age have underperformed so much that EA lost 6 billion dollars in market value after releasing the games. Maybe if EA loses 16 billion, we'll finally get that online career mode or a pay-to-win-free Ultimate Team.
