According to a leaker, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion might be not only revealed, but also released next year.

Back in 2022, rumors about a remake of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion surfaced after the plan to recreate the game surfaced during the FTC’s investigation into Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Documents said the game was expected during 2022 – but obviously was never released.

Until now – at least when you trust leaker Extas1s who says that the remake is not only real, but might be announced during an Xbox Direct event in January, and also will be released sometime in 2025.

Previous rumors already talked about Virtuos developing the game and that Unreal Engine 5 is involved.

Since there is no official statement about the game so far by any of the (probably) involved parties, take this leak with a grain of salt – we will inform you about more detailed information the moment they drop.

Have you been a fan of Elder Scrolls: Oblivion? Would you like to play a remake of the game?
