POOLS is a horror game that explores the player's fears. You walk aimlessly through these liminal spaces with no idea where you're going. And now it's also available on GOG.

What is POOLS?

POOLS, as aforementioned, is a psychological horror game and a type of walking simulator. There are barely any real challenges. No monster that's hunting you, and barely any puzzles to solve. The game mostly tests your navigation skills and mental endurance.

"One could say POOLS is like an art gallery, where you look around and listen to the sounds."

It makes you think that there is something lurking somewhere, trying to get you, but this endless anticipation never gets fulfilled and only makes this eerie experience more dreadful.

You can't even die. When you fall off the pathway or sink into deep water, the game just rewinds time to set you back onto the last safe spot.

"POOLS plays on fears of getting lost, the dark, and tight spaces."

The game is currently enjoying 20% off on GOG, meaning it only costs $7.79 USD. This offer ends on December 5, so be quick! It's definitely worth checking the game out if you haven't already.

Will you play POOLS? If you already have, what's your impression of it? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!
