Overcooked! developers announced their new game Stage Fright at the Game Awards 2024.
The developers of Overcooked! used the opportunity of the Game Awards, like many other devs, to announce their next project: Stage Fright.
What is Stage Fright?
Stage Fright is the new upcoming title from Ghost Town Games, the developers behind the international multiplayer hit Overcooked!
At the Game Awards 2024, publisher Hello Games revealed an announcement trailer of the game and gave us some insight into the game.
Stage Fright will be a two-player coop adventure game that will be released for PC via Steam. Sadly, there has not been a release date announced yet.
The game follows the three kids Drew, Blake, and Charlie, two of which seem to be playable as shown in the trailer.
Depending on who you play, you view the world completely differently. So you have to communicate with your friends to find your way out of these escape-room-like levels.
The developers stress that there is no intensive gaming skill needed to be able to enjoy this game. Instead, it's all about the mind! Solve the puzzles together to move forward, simple as that.
