Lucid Dreams Studio's BIOMORPH will be released for PlayStation 5 on November 22.
Already released for PC, BIOMORPH – a game inspired by soulslike games and the metroidvania concept – now finds its way to the PS5.
While you could already experience the side-scrolling soulslike Metriodvania game on PC via Steam since April 5, starting November 22, PlayStation 5 players will also get the chance – with Xbox and Switch ports already planned as well.
Become your enemies
In BIOMOPRH players get to explore a vast world with a variety of settings by platforming, puzzling and fighting monsters. The powers of the latter can be used by transforming into them – which is absolutely necessary since every creature can come back even more threatening and deadly.
Use freshly acquired powers to fight monsters as well as find ways to new territories while the enemy is learning to challenge you even more via AI system. To overcome them, choose and change your way of fighting with a variety of melee and range weapons, which you can also upgrade to create your very own, unique combat style.
Explore a vast world, explore its origin and customize it
Explore a world composed of 16 different environments, optional boss battles, weird NPCs and a ton of secrets to dive even deeper into the world of BIOMOPRH.
Because not everything in the game is to be destroyed or killed. Rebuild the city of Blightmoor, your hometown, befriend townspeople and customize the look of the environment. While you do so and increase the level and abilities of your character, you will reveal surprising twists about the truth of your own origin.
Release on the PS5 with others to come
The PlayStation 5 version will include all the quality-of-life improvements the PC version got, as well as language support in English, French, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese.
The game will be released for PlayStation 5 on November 22, while the PC version is already available – ports for the Xbox series and the Switch are already planned.
