Elden Ring Legend Let Me Solo Her Says Fans Are Too Harsh On The DLC

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has been talked about since it's release, for being unfairly difficult. Let Me Solo Her, the community legend who helped countless players defeat Malenia has now spoken on the topic.

Elden Ring is hard, and Shadow of the Erdtree even more so. It is so hard, in fact, that the fans got FromSoftware to release a balance patch that made the first half of the game easier for them.

But this is a discussion that occurs every time FromSoftware releases a new title. Now, a particularly pot-headed (and naked) legend has given his thoughts on the matter.

LetMeSoloHer, The Myth, The Legend

Almost every Elden Ring player looks up to one man. A god among mortals – LetMeSoloHer.

For almost two years he spent his time, letting struggling players summon him for the fight against Malenia, on one condition, that they let him kill her alone. mHe has now set his eyes on the DLC's worst boss, Messmer the Impaler.

And he's already helped many players overcome Messmer's fiery onslaughts under the new name: Let Me Solo Him.

LetMeSoloHer Expresses His Opinion On The Difficulty

In an interview with GamesRadar+ Let Me Solo Her spoke his mind on the game and on the recent controversy surrounding Shadow of the Erdtree's difficulty.

I haven’t beaten it yet, but I’m at the last boss right now and I think it will take some time before I beat him. I took some time to master Messmer but I think I ran pretty straightforward for the DLC.

I think being a week into the DLC, many people are just too harsh and experiencing many new things to accurately judge the difficulty. After a couple months I think we can fairly assess the DLC’s ranking in terms

LetMeSoloHer is clearly enjoying himself in the DLC, as are we. But he also talks about the people, who clearly didn't:

Soulsborne players are always split between those who refuse to make the game easier for themselves, and those who use anything and everything at their disposal.
This is the DLC, which means there is some expectation that the player has most, if not all the base game has to offer. Use summons, explore to gather more Scadutree blessings, anything to make the fight easier for you.

LetMeSoloHer really is a true veteran. I can only agree, that the DLC expects you to use the tools, that are scattered throughout the Land of Shadow. Otherwise, you shall perish.

What do you think of the DLC? Is it too hard? Or are you as tough as Let Me Solo Her. Let us know!
