Wuthering Waves 1.2 banner leaks have revealed that two new characters are coming to the game and fans are getting excited to see both of them in the game.
Fans are going crazy as new leaked information about the Wuthering Waves 1.2 update has been revealed. This open-world gacha game has been taking players by storm since its release, thanks to its interesting storyline, dynamic combat routines, and an interesting cast of characters. And now new characters are going to be added to the roster as per the leaks.
If the latest leaks prove true, then two new characters, Xiangli Yao and Zhezhi will be added to the game with Wuthering Waves 1.2 banners.
Wuthering Waves 1.2 Banner Characters: Xiangli Yao and Zhezhi
A Twitter user named hxg_diluc shared some updates regarding version 1.2. According to the leaks, two new characters, Xiangli Yao and Zhezhi, are set to make their debut in the Wuthering Waves 1.2 update.
- Xiangli Yao: A 5-star Electro DPS character who wields Gauntlets. Chief Researcher of Jinzhou's Huaxu Academy, Xiangli Yao is known for being smart and strong in combat. Her skills are expected to make her very strong on-field damage dealer.
- Zhezhi: A 5-star Glacio support character who uses a Rectifier. Zhezhi is a soft-spoken and highly focused commissioned painter. She, with her talent, is going to give really good sub-DPS support, so she will be a great addition to any team.
Wuthering Waves 1.2 Banner Phases
The 1.2 update is expected to feature two banner phases, each highlighting different characters:
- Phase I: Xiangli Yao will be the main hero of 1.2 Banner, supported by Aalto, 4-star Aero, Danjin, 4-star Havoc, and Yuanwu, 4-star Electro.
- Phase II: Zhezhi headlines the second phase, along with Sanhua, Baizhi, and Chixia joining her—4-star Glacio and 4-star Glacio and 4-star Fusion respectively.
Wuthering Waves 1.2 Weapon Convene Events
Character banners won't be the only inclusion in the update, we also have Weapon Convene Events. This will contain Xiangli Yao's Signature Gauntlets and Zhezhi's Rectifier, allowing players a chance to further upgrade the new characters’ combat capabilities.
Wuthering Waves 1.2 Banner Release Date
The Wuthering Waves 1.2 update is expected to go live around August 15, 2024, following the conclusion of Changli’s banner on August 14.
Until the new characters arrive in Wuthering Waves, players will be able to recruit Jinhshi during the Thawborn Renewal banner, which concludes on July 22. Replacing it will be Vermillion's Ploy banner belonging to the Changli, along with enhanced pull rates, Baizhi, Mortefi, and Taoqi as 4-star characters.
