Evernight, March 7th’s mysterious new 5-star form, is coming to Honkai Star Rail in version 3.6. Here’s everything we know about farming her ascension and trace materials.

With Honkai Star Rail 3.6 on the horizon, the spotlight is on Evernight—March 7th’s powerful new 5-star Remembrance character. As leaks from reliable sources like @nivskis reveal, Evernight will be an Ice-type force to be reckoned with. Since most of Evernight's materials are already in the game, players can start pre-farming for her now.
Who Is Evernight in Honkai Star Rail?
Evernight is March 7th’s lost identity—her true self before her memory loss. She joins the playable roster as a Remembrance Path character, wielding the Ice element. The lore suggests deep connections to Amphoreus, the next big story region. But for now, let’s focus on what matters most to players: how to build her.
HSR Evernight’s Ascension Materials
To get Evernight to level 80, you’ll need the following materials:
- Sea Siren’s Torn Fin:65
- Eternal Lament:15
- Echoing Wail:15
- Ethereal Omen:15
- Credits:888,100
Plus, don’t forget Traveler’s Guide experience books—you’ll need roughly 290 (unofficial count, based on past characters) to max her level.
Where to Farm Ascension Materials
- Sea Siren’s Torn Fin: Farm this from the Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Sirens (found in “Warbling Shores” on Styxia). As always, the Interastral Peace Guide: Survival Index makes it easy to teleport straight there.
- Eternal Lament, Echoing Wail, Ethereal Omen: These all drop from Black Tide enemies, with Eternal Lament (the highest rarity) appearing most often after reaching Equilibrium Level 4 or higher.

HSR Evernight’s Trace Materials
Levelling up her traces (skill upgrades) will also be key to her performance. Here’s what you need:
- Bija of Consciousness:18
- Ethereal Omen:41
- Seedling of Manas:69
- Echoing Wail:56
- Flower of Alaya:139
- Eternal Lament:58
- Daythunder Anamnesis:12
- Tracks of Destiny:8
- Credits:3,000,000
Where to Farm Trace Materials
- Bija of Consciousness, Seedling of Manas, Flower of Alaya: All these are Remembrance Path trace materials, primarily farmed at the Bud of Remembrance Crimson Calyx. Seedling of Manas and Bija of Consciousness can also be bought from the Embers Exchange store.
- Ethereal Omen, Echoing Wail, Eternal Lament: See above (Black Tide enemies).
- Daythunder Anamnesis: This weekly boss drop comes from Glance of Twilight Echo of War, which pits you against the Sublime, Radiant, Avatar of the Sky. Like all Echo of War domains, it costs 30 Trailblaze Power per run and is limited to 3 weekly rewards. Plan ahead!
- Tracks of Destiny: Pick these up from Embers Exchange, Starlight Exchange, and limited-time events.
Credits and Experience Books
You’ll need a hefty 888,100 credits just for ascension, plus 3 million for traces. Stockpiling Traveler’s Guide for experience will make the grind smoother, too.
Pre-Farming Tips
- Focus on Calyxes: The Bud of Remembrance Crimson Calyx is your main stop for most trace materials. Farming extra Seedling of Manas and Bija of Consciousness now will save time later.
- Black Tide Grind: Keep farming Black Tide enemies every day—Eternal Lament is the rarest, so higher difficulty levels are your friend.
- Echo of War Weekly Limit: Since Daythunder Anamnesis is essential (and the boss fight is weekly-gated), try to unlock and clear Glance of Twilight as soon as possible with each new week.
- Shop Reset: Don’t forget to check Embers Exchange for weekly materials, especially if you’re close to a milestone.
As always, leaks can change before the official patch drops. HoYoverse might tweak numbers, add new domains, or even swap a material. For now, though, this list of HSR Evernight materials is your best pre-farming guide. Once version 3.6 launches, double-check the official patch notes for any updates.
