Ampverse DMI has officially launched the much-anticipated College Rivals Season 3, India’s premier collegiate gaming talent hunt, making its biggest leap yet with a ₹30 lakh prize pool and tournaments spanning across 70 colleges in more than 20 cities.

Following the record-breaking success of last season, which reached 110 million people and saw over 2 lakh registrations, this year’s edition builds on the momentum with an expanded footprint, new formats, and exciting game additions.

For the first time, the competition extends to East India, ensuring a broader talent search and giving more students across the country the chance to shine.

College Rivals Season 3: Bigger, Better, and More Competitive

College Rivals Season 3 retains its popular solo BGMI format but adds an all-new BGMI squad mode, allowing college students to form teams and compete together. This shift brings an extra layer of strategy and collaboration, turning it into a campus pride battle as much as a gaming competition.

The event will once again feature fan-favourite esports titles such as Valorant and EA Sports FC 25. In a first for the tournament, chess will debut as an official demonstrative sport, tapping into its rising popularity as a competitive mind sport in India.

Nationwide Tour, Broadcast, and Prize Pool

Starting August 11, 2025, in Delhi NCR, the tournament will travel across the country with both online and offline matches.

Students from participating colleges will battle it out on-stage and online, with the excitement streamed live across approximately 20 broadcasts on the official College Rivals YouTube channel.

With its ₹30 lakh prize pool, inclusion of new gaming formats, and the nationwide outreach, this year’s event reinforces College Rivals’ position as India’s largest and most influential collegiate esports tournament.

Influencers and Esports Icons Join the Movement

This season’s launch comes with a powerhouse collaboration involving some of India’s biggest gaming personalities: LolzZz, Shreeman Legend, Mizo, and Zgod. Together, they’ll drive a nationwide campaign through exclusive content drops, livestreams, and on-campus appearances.

How to Join the Action

Registration is already open for students eager to represent their campus in this landmark season. Players can sign up through the official College Rivals website and participate in qualifiers for their chosen games.

So, whether you’re a casual gamer testing your skills or an aspiring pro looking to make your mark, College Rivals Season 3 promises intense competition, career-shaping exposure, and the chance to be crowned the best collegiate gamer in the country.
