The Esports Awards 2025 announced its finalists on October 16, 2025, with both Jonathan and Snax making the cut among 12 elite nominees for Esports Content Creator of the Year 2025.

Fans can now vote for their favourite on the official website esportsawards.com until November 12, 2025. The grand ceremony will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, continuing the celebration of the event’s 10th anniversary, which began with the Decade Awards in Riyadh on August 10.

Jonathan Gaming: India’s Esports Superstar

Jonathan Amaral, popularly known as Jonathan Gaming, is one of India’s most decorated BGMI and PUBG Mobile athletes. Representing GodLike Esports, he has been a dominant force in the competitive scene for over seven years, earning accolades for his sharp gameplay, leadership, and consistency.

With 7.3 million YouTube subscribers and 4.1 million Instagram followers, Jonathan’s content blends high-octane matches, tournament highlights, and engaging live streams. His influence extends beyond the battlefield—he’s a role model for millions of young gamers across the country.

In 2022, he was nominated for Esports Mobile Player of the Year, finishing second to China’s Order, proving his global appeal.

Snax: The Entertainer Who Connects

Raj “Snax” Verma is a former BGMI professional turned full-time content creator, currently part of S8UL Esports. Known for his cheerful personality, humour, and relatable vlogs, Snax has carved a unique space in the gaming world.

He boasts 2.1 million YouTube subscribers and 1.1 million Instagram followers, where he shares a mix of gaming streams, challenges, and lifestyle content. After retiring from competitive play in 2022, Snax shifted focus to building a strong digital community, making him a top contender for the Content Creator title.

Well, the nomination of Jonathan and Snax reflects the rising global influence of Indian gaming talent. Both are not just players; they are cultural icons shaping how gaming is consumed in India.

Even more significantly, their respective organisations, GodLike Esports and S8UL Esports, have also been nominated for Esports Content Group of the Year 2025, highlighting the strength of Indian esports ecosystems.

Global Competition

They face tough competition from world-renowned creators:

  • Tarik Celik (former CS:GO/Valorant pro, global streaming giant)
  • Caedrel (French LoL analyst and streamer)
  • Gaules (Brazilian CS legend)
  • Jynxzi, Clix, ohnePixel, and NiceWigg

All in all, the Esports Content Creator of the Year 2025 award is more than just a trophy; it’s a symbol of influence, creativity, and connection. For India, this nomination is a historic step forward in the global esports narrative.
