The upcoming Wuthering Waves 2.8 update will finally introduce Chisa, a new 5-star Havoc Broadblade Resonator. Leaks have already surfaced detailing her signature weapon, Kumokiri, including its complete stats, passive abilities, and level-up materials.

According to leaks shared by @Jiyan0117, the Chisa signature weapon is called Kumokiri, a 5-star Broadblade that enhances both Crit Rate and Resonance Liberation DMG. The weapon is designed to synergise with Chisa’s combat kit, focusing on Havoc DMG scaling and status-based buffs.

Kumokiri’s passive revolves around status effects and Resonance Liberation, rewarding both Chisa and her allies for efficient rotations.

• Effect:
  • Increases ATK by 12%.
  • When the wielder casts an Intro Skill or inflicts Negative Status on enemies, their Resonance Liberation DMG increases by 8% / 18.4% / 20.8% / 23.2% / 25.6% for 15 seconds, stacking up to three times.
  • At max stacks, when any party member deals Negative Status DMG, the wielder gains a 24% All Attribute DMG Bonus for 15 seconds. Re-triggering resets the timer.

The passive clearly caters to Chisa’s Havoc attribute and status-heavy gameplay, while also providing significant teamwide utility through the final stack bonus.

To max out Kumokiri, players will need a mix of Whisperin Cores and Waveworn Residues, which can be farmed from specific Forgery Challenges and enemy groups across Huanglong and Rinascita.
