Recent leaks have revealed two new ZZZ 1.4 Drive Disks, which are possibly called Silent Listening Melody and Broken Branch Sword Song.
We already know from Hoyoverse's drip marketing campaign that the Zenless Zone Zero 1.4 update will reveal two new characters, Harumasa and Yanagi. And now Hoyoverse has released Zenless Zone Zero's patch 1.4 for beta testing which is primarily the reason many leaks of the update have made it online. Recent leaks from Flying Flame have indicated that these characters' kits will be complemented by two new Drive Disks.
Their names are two of the most creative ones ever among all the Drive Disks: Silent Listening Melody and Broken Branch Sword Song. Both of these have unique passives with great benefits for the characters. Here is all that we know about ZZZ 1.4 Drive Disk.
Leak reveals two new ZZZ 1.4 Drive Disks
ZZZ 1.4 Drive Disk: Silent Listening Melody Drive Disc
The 2-piece set effect increases Attack by 10% while the 4-piece set effect grants a layer of Melody to the entire team when any team member enters the field via Quick Assist. This can be stacked three times. To increase the duration, repeated triggers are needed. Each layer of Melody adds 8% to the character's damage provided they enter the battle through Quick Assist.
From this description, the Silent Listening Melody Drive Disc seems to be more suited to Harumasa. This is so because this character could assume the role of a rotational DPS as an attack agent.
On the other hand, we have Anton, who is great at Quick Assist. This character would be able to effectively utilize the Melody stack.
ZZZ 1.4 Drive Disk: Broken Branch Sword Song Drive Disc
The 2-piece set effect increases Attack by 10%. The 4-piece set effect increases a character's CRIT DMG by 25% when its Anomaly Mastery is more than or equal to 115 points. Also, if a team member uses Freezes or applies Shatter on an enemy, the wearer's attack increases by 15% for 15 seconds.
Surprisingly, no Ice Anomaly characters appear to be in Zenless Zone Zero's roster that will use the Broken Branch Sword Song Drive Disc. But if we were to venture a guess, we'd say Miyabi is a good fit for this passive because she can apply Freeze and Shatter on enemies. This observation is based on her closed beta kit. It is possible that she would be a hybrid Anomaly character that will take advantage of the huge CRIT DMG buff from this drive disc.
