Pokemon Unite Armarouge, Darkrai, and Psyduck are the three new Pokemon that were revealed recently and will join the roster in September, October, and November 2024 respectively.
Pokémon Unite is going to get even more fun with three new Pokemon coming: Armarouge, Darkrai, and Psyduck. These new Pokemon have got players excited as they will bring new strategies and gameplay to the popular mobile and Switch game, where players fight in a 5v5 arena to score points and win.
3 New Pokemon Coming in Pokemon Unite: Armarouge, Darkrai, and Psyduck
The Pokémon Company International and Timi Studio have confirmed that Armarouge, Darkrai, and Psyduck are joining Pokémon Unite in the next few months. Each of these Pokémon will have its own special role in the game, giving players more variety and new ways to play.
Pokemon Unite Armarouge
Armarouge is the first new character coming, and it’ll be available on September 12, 2024. As an Attacker, Armarouge is really good at doing a lot of damage from far away, but it’s not super tough in close fights. This Pokémon is one of Charcadet's evolutions and will use a powerful move called Armor Cannon as its Unite Move. In the trailer, we can see Armarouge create a field of fire and blast enemies with its cannon, hitting a big area. This makes it a great pick for players who love dealing lots of damage.
Pokemon Unite Darkrai
Darkrai comes next in October 2024. It’s a Mythical Pokémon from Generation 4 and will be a Speedster in the game. Speedsters focus on fast and tricky play. Darkrai's Unite Move is called Worst Nightmare, and it traps enemies in a nightmare, making them easier to attack. Darkrai’s quick moves and sneaky abilities will bring a new strategy for players who like to surprise their enemies and hit fast.
Pokemon Unite Psyduck
Psyduck will join the game in November 2024, finishing the trio. Psyduck is going to be a Supporter, a Pokémon that helps its teammates by healing them and giving other kinds of support. The trailer shows Psyduck riding waves and using psychic attacks, which can heal allies and help in fights. This will be super helpful for teams that need a good, solid Support Pokémon to back them up.
What to Expect from these new Pokemon in Pokemon Unite?
With these new Pokemon, players will get even more choices to build their teams and make cool strategies as each of them has their own special powers and way to play:
- Armarouge will give strong long-range attacks and control areas with its fire field and cannon.
- Darkrai will bring a fast, hard-hitting style, using nightmares and teleporting to mess up enemies.
- Psyduck will help teammates by healing them and using its psychic powers to keep them in the game longer.
All these new Pokemon come after the updates that added Miraidon, Falinks, and Ceruledge earlier this year. But besides the new Pokemon, there's also a new game mode coming soon where two teams race to get 500 points first, with no time limit. This will make the game even more exciting.
