After a first season that was received very poorly, the second season of the Paramount+ production surprised many fans who stuck around - suddenly Halo was good.

Halo Season 2 received much better reviews, and it looked as though we would get a third season of the sci-fi show. Paramount had other plans, though, since they have now announced the cancellation of the show.

What's Next For Halo?

Following the news, fans have been left asking themselves why the show got canceled and what the next step is for Halo. A clear explanation, as to why Paramount decided to shut down the project, was not given.

Even though Paramount will not continue making the show, this leaves room for another studio to pick up the torch and continue the project. The Halo developers 343 Industries and Xbox have already expressed their wish to save the show.

But all that is still a long way away.

What do you think about it? Did you like the show? Are sad that it's canceled?
