Something deep inside you is stirring – and it demands to be unleashed. The Grandpa Mentality. Is someone here having too much fun? Do I hear children laughing? A PARTY? Not on our watch. Time to assemble our army and strike back. Call your cooing pigeon squad, polish your walking stick, and take it to the park benches of the world.

Gameplay: Bread, Benches, And Death Stares

In The Bench, we step into the worn-out yet surprisingly agile shoes of a senior citizen enjoying his day – or at least trying to. But this isn’t just about peacefully dozing off with a newspaper and a walking stick. No, we have a mission! Our task is to find hidden objects while keeping a particularly persistent flock of pigeons in check, all of whom believe we exist solely to feed them.

But why just feed them when we can use them? Theft, delivery services, or pure, unfiltered chaos – with a few breadcrumbs and a little strategy, our innocent-looking bird buddies become a well-trained elite squad for all things mischievous.

And then there’s the walking stick. Yes, you can hit people with it. No, we don’t condone violence – but having the option is just… well, nice.

Puzzles, Mini-Games, And Park Bench Strategy

But The Bench isn’t just about embracing senior delinquency. The game challenges us with clever puzzles that unlock new areas. The beautifully designed, colorful maps are packed with tiny details and secrets waiting to be discovered (and, well, sabotaged). And for those who still have a few brain cells left to spare, there are adorable mini-games – like newspaper puzzles that keep Grandpa’s mind sharp and stop him from dozing off mid-game.

Twitch Integration: Your Viewers, Your Saboteurs

The real fun begins if you’re a streamer: Thanks to Twitch integration, viewers can mess with your game in real time. They can spawn pigeons, raccoons, or NPCs, either to help or to completely sabotage you. Every single spawn comes with the viewer’s Twitch username – so everyone knows exactly who to blame for the chaos.

Play The Demo Now

Want to unleash some pigeon-powered mayhem before the official release? No problem! The free demo is already available on Steam and guarantees hours of fun – or should we say, ensures that no one else is having fun. At least not the poor NPCs who unknowingly sat on our bench.
