Here's how to solve the riddle about the fallen statue that is buried in a wall in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which you will need to solve to reach the Abandoned Hebra Mine in the Depths. The fallen statue dead end is part of the quest "Master Kohga of the Yiga Clan".
In Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, The Depths offer a whole bunch of mysteries to explore that greatly extend the Zelda universe . There are even some quests that you can complete in the Depths. One of the questlines is called "Master Kohga of the Yiga Clan" and to complete it, you have to follow and defeat Master Kohga in four different abandoned mines in the dark and creepy underworld.
To reach the different mines, you can usually just jump into a Chasm nearby and then follow the big stone statues. But when doing so to get to the Abandoned Hebra Mine, you will eventually find yourself in front of a fallen statue that is buried in the wall, making it impossible to proceed.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Fallen Statue Riddle: How To Reach The Abandoned Hebra Mine
The fallen statue has caused a lot of confusion in the past and still does for new players. You can't just move it with your Ultrahand or your Recall ability, nor by using bombs or other items. And don't even think that the Zonai Wing lying next to the statue has anything to do with the riddle – it doesn't!
Instead, the solution to this lies on the surface. You have to find a certain Chasm that will take you right into the heart of the Abandoned Hebra Mine.
The aforementioned Chasm is hidden near Rito Village in the northwest of Hyrule. Get to the point marked on the map in the screenshot above.
You'll spot a campfire and a guy right next to it who will tell you that there is a hidden Chasm nearby.
And indeed, it's right beneath your feet. All you need to do is climb down the stone wall until you come to a small entrance that will lead you straight to the Chasm you've been looking for.
Just go through this Chasm, and voilà – you found the Abandoned Hebra Mine. Now prepare for another battle against evil Master Kohga. For more help on challenges in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, check out our guides at the end of this article!
