The PMGC 2024 Grand Finals will begin soon and the teams from Group Red that are going to the finals have been selected.
After a lot of intense gaming over four days, we now know the top teams from Group Red that are headed straight to the PMGC Grand Finals. There were 16 teams fighting hard for these spots, but only the best three made it to the finals right away. Let’s see who they are.
Qualified Teams for PMGC 2024 Grand Finals from Group Red
The three teams that qualified for the PMGC 2024 Grand Finals from Group Red are Natus Vincere (NAVI), TJB, and Nigma Galaxy. Here’s a bit about how they performed:
- Natus Vincere (NAVI): NAVI dominated the leaderboard with a total of 186 points. They had four Chicken Dinners (that’s when a team wins a match) and scored 114 kills. NAVI was super consistent, staying strong across all 24 matches. They topped Group Red and proved they’re ready for the finals!
- TJB: Coming in second, TJB, a team from China, was close behind NAVI with 177 points. They actually had one more Chicken Dinner than NAVI, ending with five. This just shows how good they were at getting those match wins.
- Nigma Galaxy: This team also put up a great fight and secured the third spot with 172 points and two Chicken Dinners. They may not have won as many matches, but their steady gameplay got them enough points to qualify.
The Red Group dust settles! A huge congrats to NAVI, TJB, and NGX for securing their top 3 spots! The fight isn't over yet. Get ready for some exciting matches in Group Green next week!#PUBGMOBILE #PUBGMOBILEESPORTS #PMGC #PMGC2024 pic.twitter.com/E088pbLDYy

Teams Moving to the Survival Stage
Now, it wasn’t all happy news for everyone. The teams that placed from 4th to 11th in Group Red couldn’t go straight to the finals, but they still have a chance. They’ll be competing in what’s called the Survival Stage. If they do well there, they’ll enter a Last Chance round, and from there, a few more teams can qualify for the Grand Finals. Here’s a look at these teams:
- IW NRX: This team was so close to qualifying directly! They scored 171 points, just two points behind Nigma Galaxy.
- Falcons Force: Falcons also gave it their best shot, scoring 168 points, just a little behind IW NRX.
- ASi8 Esports: A strong team from Pakistan, ASi8 ended up in sixth place with 164 points. They had a good run but just missed the cut for direct qualification.
Other teams like Faze Clan, Tianba, Insilio, GRoy, and Team Queso are also moving to the Survival Stage. Each of them has one last shot to make it to the finals.
Eliminated Teams
Now, sadly, not every team gets a second chance. The teams that ranked from 12th to 16th were eliminated from the tournament. Here’s a quick look at those who didn’t make it:
- IHC Esports: The defending champions from last year, IHC couldn’t keep up this time around. They ended up in 12th place with 106 points, which wasn’t enough to move forward.
- Vengeance and Alter Ego: Both teams scored 101 points, but it wasn’t enough. They ended up in 13th and 14th place, which means they’re out of the competition.
- Furia Esports and Virtus Pro: These two teams rounded out the bottom of the scoreboard with 96 and 94 points, respectively, which means they’re also eliminated.
