Dark fantasy side-scroller RPG Mandragora launches in April of 2025 – including a deluxe edition

Primal Game Studio will release its side-scroller featuring a dark fantasy world and RPG elements next year.

The side-scroller RPG Mandragora inspired by games like Castlevania will be released in April of 2025.

Publisher Knights Peak and developer Primal Game Studio announced the launch of its side-scrolling dark fantasy action RPG Mandragora. The game will be released April 17 of next year for PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series, Switch and the PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

In the game humanity has surrendered the dark world of monsters. Players will fight deadly creatures, vicious bosses and meet new allies and enemies throughout the journey of nightmarish combat and harsh moral choices. Every play through will be unique by the many paths the game offers.

The player wields powerful weapons and uses stunning magic in this dark action RPG, while unraveling secrets and shaping the fate of a whole world.

It features six character classes – each with its own talent tree and over 200 active skills upgrades.

Players have to defeat 19 challenging mini and 15 brutal end bosses, while forging their own alternate ending, following the narrative crafted by Brian Mitsoda.

Two versions will be available, the standard game and the digital deluxe edition, which will feature the following:
