Qualified Teams EWC at DreamHack Dallas 2024
At first, six Fortnite teams earned their place in the tournament.
They qualified by ranking in the top six at DreamHack Dallas 2024 and these teams include:
- Team Falcons
- Agent Gaming
- Karmine Corp
- Heroic
- Fnatic
- BIG
Qualified Teams for EWC in Regional Online Esports World Cup Qualifiers
Ten additional Fortnite teams were also supposed to qualify by participating in regional online Esports World Cup Qualifiers. These took place from July 5-7 and the following number of teams could qualify from each:
- Europe (2 teams qualify)
- North America (2 teams qualify)
- LATAM (2 teams qualify)
- MENA (2 teams qualify)
- APJ (1 team qualifies)
- Oceania (1 team qualifies)
The best squads from these events earned spots to compete at the $1M Esports World Cup.
In first place in Europe were Gaimin Gladiators, closely followed by the VBBX group that included Voxe, Vortexers, Bloomy, and XSweeze.
XSET and Dignitas, who have some of the biggest rosters in the world, won the North American qualifiers.
Two free agency teams qualified in South America; Team Randuzzr containing Randa, Itrol, Lew, and Romero emerged victorious. Team Frostykz7 comprising Seeyun, Frosty, Kurtz, and Phzin were also eligible.
The winning team in the Middle East was BEST TEAM which includes Adapter, FHD, Hero, and Mansour. On the other hand, the BMNF team having Balor, FHD, Mshx, and NM7 finished second.
The Zeta Division won in Asia by defeating everyone, whereas PWR won in Oceania.
