Only seven days after the brand-new tank debuted in Overwatch 2, the newest patch notes already nerfed him.

With the December 16 update of Overwatch 2 not only came some minor changes but also a decrease of Hazard’s power.

Hazard and Sojourn getting nerfed

Just a week after Season 14 of Overwatch 2 launched, a patch note changed the brand-new Tank Hazard that came with the new season – here is everything that was updated with it.

The new adjustments to the Scottish Tank made by Blizzard makes his Ultimate slightly longer to earn, so players won’t pour down destruction as quickly as they used to just a week before.

Sojourn also suffered from the update reducing her potential on the map.

Hero Balance update

Here is everything that’s in the patch notes:

Hazard

  • Downpour: Ultimate cost increased 13%

Sojourn

  • Railgun: Primary fire shots-per-second reduced from 16 to 15.
  • Disruptor Shot: No longer generates energy.
  • Overclock: Energy charge rate reduced from 120 to 100 per second.

This is one of the fastest nerfs the game ever saw and might balance the use of Hazard a bit better in Overwatch 2.

Have you already played Hazard or Sojourn? What do you think about them getting nerfed already?
