With Patch 4.0, players not only received new content, but also a number of nerfs. Of course, this did not go down well with the fans, so Saber Interactive have done a U-turn, keeping this power fantasy of a game as just that.

Patch 4.1 — Release date & patch notes

Patch 4.1 will release on October 24, and Saber Interactive will once again make players feel powerful when they go into battle for the Emperor.

Patch notes

Weapon adjustments

Many players have complained that the Bolter weapons feel especially weak right now. To rectify this, Saber Interactive is increasing the damage of these weapons by between 5% and 20%:

  • Auto Bolt Rifle → Damage increased by 20%
  • Bolt Rifle → Damage increased by 10%
  • Heavy Bolt Rifle → Damage increased by 15%
  • Stalker Bolt Rifle → Damage increased by 10%
  • Marksman Bolt Carbine → Damage increased by 10%
  • Instigator Bolt Carbine → Damage increased by 10%
  • Bolt Sniper Rifle → Damage increased by 12.5%
  • Bolt Carbine → Damage increased by 15%
  • Occulus Bolt Carbine → Damage increased by 15%
  • Heavy Bolter → Damage increased by 5%

Enemy adjustments

Minimal, Average, and Substantial Difficulties

  • Reduced spawn rate of Extremis enemies to match pre-Patch 4.0 levels

Ruthless Difficulty

  • Significantly reduced spawn rate of Extremis enemies
  • Player’s Armour is increased by 10%

Those are all the changes coming in Patch 4.1. We're hoping it does enough to satisfy the community and keep the hype for this game alive.
