A hit already on PC, iOS, and Android, the Wuthering Waves game launched in May and will soon be playable on PS5.
Kuro Games has confirmed that PS5 players can basically enjoy Wuthering Waves with all the Ultra quality settings available on the PC version, promising an additionally striking visual experience for players on the new console. This further aligns with Kuro Games' ambition to ensure better quality gaming experiences across different platforms.
The first time that players will likely get a chance to see Wuthering Waves in action on the PS5 will be at ChinaJoy 2024, from July 26 to July 29 in Shanghai. This event will feature the first playable version of the game on PS5, giving fans a sneak peek at what's to come.
However, there's a catch. Interestingly, there was no mention of a PlayStation 4 version in the announcement, so that confirms it is going to be a PS5 exclusive. That could suck for PS4 owners looking to play this title, as previous reports from Unreal Fest in Shanghai had suggested that there might be a PS4 release with settings a little bit higher than the maximum mobile settings. Moreover, there is no word on a version for Xbox or Nintendo Switch either, so the PS5 is the only console for the game as of now.
Now while the exact release date hasn't been confirmed yet, it's expected that the PS5 version will be part of the Wuthering Waves' 1.2 update, which will probably launch in August 2024.
