Halo Infinite's campaign may be flawed, but its open-world is an absolute joy. This is an incredible experience, especially after the disappointment of Halo 5: Guardians, and provides plenty of content for you to go out and enjoy. Now, yes, the story here isn't completely on-point, and there are a few lackluster sections, but for the most part, Halo Infinite is an absolute blast. Halo 3 marked the debut of the Halo franchise on the Xbox 360, becoming an instant classic. Concluding Master Chief's original trilogy of games, it delivered a finale that was a sheer delight to play. The conclusion of Chief's story was executed in a sublime and satisfying manner, a feat that 343 Industries struggled to replicate in subsequent years. The campaign was replete with iconic moments and featured absolutely stellar levels. | © Bungie
The original Halo was ground-breaking for its time and set up the two decades of shooters that would succeed it. This remarkable adventure throughout our first-ever Halo ring held some of the best – and some of the worst – missions in Halo's extensive history. There is really nothing else to say, to be honest, Halo Combat Evolved is a little dated now – and its story-telling is a little messy – but it is a joy to play even twenty years after it first released. | © Bungie
Halo 2 has that fantastic city mission, Metropolis. Try to get a Warthog through the whole map. It's possible, we've done it. More importantly, though, is that Halo 2 tells a remarkable story (that does, admittedly, have a pretty bad ending) and has some of the most iconic missions and moments in the Halo franchise. It is unbelievably fun, unbelievably entertaining, and would be unparalleled if not for our number one choice. Oh, and it introduced dual-wielding! | © Bungie
Wanna fight me, mate? Wanna fight? Nah, man, look: Halo Reach is one of the most rewarding and best games in the series. It had some of the game's best multiplayer, an incredible Forge Mode, the iconic Firefight Mode, and a campaign that blew everything that had come before it out of the water. Following a team of elite Spartans during the fall of Reach is exhilarating, and an absolute joy. This is a must-play! | © Bungie
