Team XSpark & Zero Recoil dominated their groups in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 Semi-Finals Day 1. Mogo Esports and Raven Esports also delivered strong performances, FS Esports and Reckoning Esports also showcased strong performances in their groups. The top 8 teams from the Semi-Finals will advance to the Finals directly. Rest 32 teams will fight in Semi- Final Week 2.

BGIS 2024 Semi-Finals Day 1 Match Summary
Match 1 - Erangel (Group A - Group B)
Team Insane performed exceptionally well and managed to secure a Chicken Dinner, earning 24 points. Team XSpark earned second place and got 19 points, 7 of them came from eliminations. SPYY from Team Insane was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) with 5 finishes. 7Shore Esports managed to secure 14 points in Erangle. Raven Esports gained 12 points, while Zero Recoil & Carnival Gaming earned 10 points each.
Match 2 - Miramar (Group A -Group C)
Mogo Esports displayed a remarkable performance in the second game and secured a 20-point Chicken Dinner. NinjaBoi from Global Esports was named MVP of the match with 6 finishes. Global Esports earned second place and got 12 points, 10 of them came from eliminations. FS Esports and Hyderabad Hydras gained 10 and 9 points respectively. Meanwhile, Livecraft Esports gained 7 points. Team Tamilas, Team Insane, Zero Recoil and 7Shore Esports were eliminated with 1 point each.
Match 3 - Sanhok (Group A -Group D)
Zero Recoil put on an impressive performance in the third game, securing a 23-point Chicken Dinner, with 13 elimination points. Meanwhile, Inferno Squad earned 11 points in this match. AAZAM from Zero Recoil was named the MVP with 5 finishes. Voltx Gaming gained 10 points securing third place. Unfortunately, Team 8BIT and 7Shore Esports were eliminated without scoring any points.
Match 4 - Vikendi (Group B - Group C)
Team XSpark did exceptionally well on the first map, securing a Chicken Dinner with 23 points. GodLike Esports earned 14 points, 9 of which came from finishes., SprayGod from Team XSpark was named the MVP with 10 finishes. Team Tamilas secured 12 points, while Raven Esports managed to claim 11 points. Entity and Mogo Esports earned 6 points each. FS Esports, Prime Esports and Carnival Gaming struggled in this match and were eliminated early, scoring nil.
Match 5 - Miramar (Group B - Group D)
