The sci-fi movies starring Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford seem to fit perfectly in the Fortnite theme.
Epic Games just added new IPs under its belt with these sci-fi movies from the 80s and the late 2010s.
Was there ever a single week without the announcement or leak of a new Fortnite collaboration? We’re not sure – but what we know is that a new partnership is already building up and even though its title might seem like it would take a few years, it’s just around the corner: Fortnite x Blade Runner 2049.
Sure, so far, the collab is more of a rumor based on different leaks but with well-known leakers talking about this information, the grain of salt you should take every leak with is extremely small.
Rumors approved by well-known leakers
First, X (formerly Twitter) user NotPalo posted a picture of 2017’s Blade Runner 2049 combined with a statement that translates to: “Blade Runner is coming to Fortnite soon.”

Then HYPEX followed up, specifying that the collab will be with the more recent movie, not the Harrison Ford classic from the 80s.

However, knowing how Epic often releases iconic throwback skins for classic franchises like Marvel and DC and features outfits based on original comic book versions in their updates, it’s also possible that we might get some nostalgic content as well.
While we don’t know yet what to expect from the collaboration, fans are already discussing the chances of Ryan Gosling’s character Officer K or Ana de Armas’ Joi making an appearance in the Battle Royale. Others would love to see Harrison Ford’s legendary Deckard to be added to the roster.
Barbie and Drive coming soon?
Fans are also speculating about other collabs already, mentioning that in case of Officer K being released for Fortnite, a Ryan Gosling character model would already be in Fortnite, which could also lead to more of his iconic characters like Ken from the Barbie movie or the Driver in the game later.
