The action side-scroller is already available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch – now it will launch for the PC too.

After already being released for the Switch on the May 30 and just yet on November 14 for the PlayStation 4, Rainmaker Productions’ Ninja Kamui: Shinobi Origins will launch for the PC on November 28.

A story beyond the anime

In the game based on the anime Ninja Kamui, you can play as Tsukumo, a shadow, fighting and shooting hordes of ninjas and henchmen to discover the origins of the story that hasn't even be told in the anime itself.

As a member of the ninja organization AUZA, Tsukumo has to fight all traces of evil within its ranks. When he learns that an inside mission is planned to kill one of his former comrades, Tsukumo gets an experimental boost gear called “TYPE 0”. Armed with it, he has to find and probably fight the leader of AUZA in the “village of the exiled ninja”.

Key features of the game

Explore the world of the original anime in a 2D style side-scroller, while mastering the art of timed attacks and combos. To defeat deadly ninja enemies you have to learn combat attacks and master kunai skills, creating a unique fighting style.

Switch to 3D mode by attacking enemies and collecting various items, while powering yourself up with the special “TYPE 0” boost gear. But keep an eye on your life that is ticking away with every usage of “TYPE 0”.
