Developer Asobism.Co. created a weird but fun mix between factory builder and tower defender and set it into a cute fantasy world.

Set up your Factory

ShapeHero Factory is a weird mix of genres and combines tower defense autobattles with factory builder elements. In the game you have to produce magical parchments that can, when combined to different shapes, summon heroes that will defend a magical crystal from some little demons.

The structure and setup in general is nothing new, while you travel from battle to battle and get rewards and improvements for your parchment production. You have to keep an eye on the time and on your role on the production line for new heroes as well as the battlefield.

Create your own warriors

Different heroes behave differently. While basic units just walk up to the closest enemy, there are warriors wielding weapons and shields to guard your crystal. Mages can call storms of lightning right in the middle of the monster hordes while archers fire big piercing arrows from the distance.

Only in the battle will you see if you produced enough heroes beforehand and upgraded their weapons to a point at which they’re able to fight wave upon wave of demons.

Come up with an unique strategy

You decide how to build your production line, giving you the chance to create a completely unique tactic to defend yourself while you unlock new heroes and buildings to keep the enemy as far away as possible.

You can buy the game for PC via Steam for $18.99 but if you’re not sure if you would like it, there’s also a free demo version to try out beforehand.

What are your thoughts on the game? Will you give ShapeHero Factory a try?
