Wuthering Waves 1.3 Banner and Characters Hinted by New Leaks

For months, fans of Wuthering Waves have been looking forward to the next core update featuring Zhezhi and Xiangli Yao. The former is about to bring in some new dynamics of play, while the latter has already made waves among players with a unique animation and skill reveal.

While we're still digesting the new content that the WuWa 1.2 update will bring, whispers about version 1.3 have already begun to make circles. Although nothing is officially confirmed to this point, numerous leaks hint at some rather interesting new characters coming with Wuthering Waves 1.3 Banners.

Right now, all everybody's talking about is update 1.2. But the excitement doesn't stop there—there's chatter about what's coming next.

Several reputable sources, including UncleBirdieWindow and TeamMew, gave us hints on what is to come the next update 1.3. From the leaks, we could be getting two new female characters added to the roster.

1. Camellya:

Camellya is a name that has been the subject of a lot of rumors for quite some time now. She was said to be playable under another name with a different design in an early closed beta test. However, now Camellya is reportedly a sword-wielding character with the Havoc Attribute.

Fans are clearly excited, probably due to the previous interactions between her and other in-game characters, which ended with a bit of tension.

2. Coastguard (Shouanren):

Another leaked character goes by the codename Coastguard, although speculation has had her actual name as Shouanren.

This appears to be an all-new character who would bring a different aspect of gameplay to the game. There are even rumors that she could be associated with a new region named Black Shores, supposedly a location expected to feature at some point in the game's narrative. There are no hints regarding her weapon and other abilities, but she would definitely enhance the already complex setting of the game.

Now, although these leaks sound very promising, remember they are not official until Kuro Games confirms them. So players should await the actual announcement of the 1.3 update.
