We've gone back to rank all live-action remakes from Disney. From noteworthy big-budgeted remakes of classic movies to underrated gems, we've got everything. So, let's start!

The 2022 Pinocchio remake fails to bring new life to the classic story of Pinocchio. Visual effects and CGI don't capture the charm of the original, offering a bland experience. | © Disney
Alice Through the Looking Glass fails to replicate the whimsical charm of its predecessor. It has bad character-driven storytelling, excessive visual effects and none of the jokes land. | © Disney
102 Dalmatians is a bad sequel that feels more like a cash grab than a meaningful continuation of the story. The humor and character development are weak and don't feel engaging. | © Disney
101 Dalmatians, for some bizarre reason, doesn't have talking animals, which was the key element of the original animated story. This makes the remakes feel flat. | © Disney
This sequel is another big failure. Its attempt to expand the story resulted in underdeveloped characters and a muddled narrative, which makes it difficult watch at best. | © Disney
Alice in Wonderland doesn't have the surreal charm of Lewis Carroll's original story. It opts for a darker, action-oriented plot, but the execution is mediocre. | © Disney
Dumbo significantly deviates from the charm and simplicity of the original by adding unnecessary subplots and characters (why do they insist on this so often?) The visual effects are impressive, but that's the only highlight. | © Disney
Maleficent, which is really a spinoff rather than strictly a remake, is at least watchable. However, for me at least, the attempt to humanize Maleficent and justify her transformation from villain to anti-hero fails. | © Disney
Despite great visuals, The Lion King lacks the emotional depth and expressiveness of the original animated movie. It sticks closely to the original story, but it feels a lot less charming. | © Disney
Peter Pan & Wendy is a fairly mid-remake that lacks freshness and innovation. The visuals are underwhelming and fail to capture the original magic of Neverland. But it does have some entertaining set pieces and good pace. | © Disney
Will Smith is an amazing genie who brings something genuinely great to the Aladdin remake. The original animation is better, but this was still a worthwhile project. | © Disney
Despite the weird controversy around this live-action movie, it's solid. The entire cast did a great job, and the story translates into live-action quite well. Not unmissable, but a good watch. | © Disney
Lady and the Tramp is a great movie, and it works surprisingly well as a live-action piece. However, the OG is still undoubtedly better. | © Disney
Okay, this one is a little bit different. While the movie might be boring to youngsters, it's great for adults, especially those who need to be reminded of the magic in life. | © Disney
The Beauty and the Beast remake stays true to the original by creating a deep backstory for both characters. It also provides more character development for LeFou as he realizes what Gaston is really like. And, bonus points for Emma Watson's excellent performance. | © Disney
Despite having a couple of questionable scenes, the Cruella de Vil film is a success. It's both entertaining and well-paced, and Emma Stone does an excellent job. | © Disney
Mulan felt like it was made in the same spirit as the original movie (and that's a massive compliment). The remake also looks great, and it has lots of surprisingly satisfying combat. | © Disney
Pete's Dragon explores themes of friendship and family, and it works very well as a live-action film. If you watched it as a kid, you'll enjoy the remake for its well-earned moments of tenderness. | © Disney
Cinderella is a great movie that sticks to the original ideas and concepts of the OG. And the plot of Cinderella thankfully doesn't really too heavily on the supernatural, so it can be perfectly conveyed well through a live-action remake. | © Disney
The more recent Jungle Book brings back all visuals, songs, and voice performances from the golden era of Disney. Unlike other bad remakes, this one has life and was completely necessary. | © Disney
